Will Middlebrooks (hamstring) is not the starting lineup for Game 1 of Saturday’s doubleheader with the Yankees.
Middlebrooks has been out since Sunday with hamstring tightness, but it’s possible he’ll be available for Game 2. Mauro Gomez is starting at third base and batting fifth.
