Carl Crawford (elbow, wrist) will move his rehab assignment to Triple-A Pawtucket on Saturday.
This confirms earlier reports. Crawford could need offseason elbow surgery, but will play though the injury and remains on track to return following the All-Star break. “It’s not 100 percent healthy, but I?m able to hit,” he said. “The elbow, there are still some issues. I?ve been making [progress].”
