Adam Lind (Blue Jays)

Adam Lind blasted his seventh home run of the season in Friday’s loss to the White Sox.

He finished the night 2-for-4 with the solo blast off Jake Peavy in the second inning. Since returning from Triple-A on June 25, Lind is now hitting .286 (10-for-35) with four homers and eight RBI. Remember, he averaged 28 home runs per season from 2009-2011, so there’s plenty of power in this left-handed bat. He’s certainly worth a look in deeper mixed leagues as a corner infielder or utility option.
