Roy Halladay (lat) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Saturday.
Halladay hasn’t had any issues with his strained lat thus far and could be cleared for a rehab assignment soon. “We can set up some things were he does simulated stuff too,” said Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro, Jr. “He’s probably better off having some sort of rehab. We’ll see how he feels Saturday and we’ll figure out where we go from there.” The two-time Cy Young Award winner is currently on track to rejoin the Phillies’ rotation shortly after the All-Star break.
