Ian Kennedy was mediocre in Wednesday’s loss to the Padres, allowing four runs on nine hits in seven innings of work.
Kennedy struck out five and walked one in taking a no-decision. The seven-inning outing was Kennedy’s second straight, though he now hasn’t been quality in three of his past five starts. He’ll close the first half with a 4.26 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 95/23 K/BB ratio compiled over 107 2/3 innings.
