The White Sox remain optimistic that Jesse Crain (shoulder) will be able to avoid the disabled list.
Crain hasn’t pitched in a week due to some tightness in his shoulder. While it’s encouraging that the Sox still don’t think he’ll need a DL stint, a decision will have to be made soon if he doesn’t start feeling better in a hurry.
