Ben Sheets threw a bullpen session at Turner Field for the Braves Sunday.
He was wearing a Braves uniform, so it appears that he’s either already signed with them or a deal might be close. Sheets hasn’t appeared in a game since July of 2010 and hasn’t been effective since 2008, but he’s evidently feeling healthy. In addition to the Braves, the Phillies, Yankees and Angels, among other teams, watched him throw last month.
