Ben Sheets threw a bullpen session at Turner Field for the Braves Sunday.
Braves scouts were also in attendance at Sheets’ throwing session last month, so it appears that they have some real interest in the veteran right-hander. Sheets hasn’t appeared in a game since July of 2010 and hasn’t been effective since 2008, but he’s evidently feeling healthy. The Phillies, Yankees and Angels, among other teams, also watched him throw last month.
