Wilson Betemit blasted a two-run home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Angels.
He finished the night 2-for-4 with two RBI. His homer came off Jason Isringhausen in the eighth inning, and brought the O’s to within 7-3. Betemit has quietly had a fairly productive season, hitting .255 with 10 homers and 30 RBI in just 196 at-bats. He’s hitting especially well in the month of June, batting .340 (18-for-53) with three homers and seven RBI. If hurting for power, he makes for an interesting pick-up in deeper mixed leagues while he rides his current hot streak.
