Vance Worley picked up his first victory in more than a month on Tuesday night, limiting the Pirates to three earned runs on six hits over six strong innings.
Worley punched out five and walked two in the game. He’s now posted a 2.70 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in five starts since returning from the DL on June 4, though due to poor run support this was his first victory in that time frame. He’ll look to pick up his fifth straight quality start when he takes on the Marlins in Miami on Sunday.
