Kevin Millwood was tagged for eight runs — five earned — in five innings by the Padres on Friday.
A pair of Kyle Seager errors aided the Padres’ cause in the third and fourth innings. In the fifth, the Padres scored their lone run on a Clayton Richard single after Nick Hundley was intentionally walked to get to him. Millwood owners have to be frustrated to see him flunk what was definitely going to be one of his easiest assignments of the year, but this one wasn’t all his fault.
