Jose Iglesias (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Short-season Lowell Friday.
He’ll then take a day off Saturday before playing for them again Sunday. At that point, Iglesias will likely be ready to rejoin Triple-A Pawtucket. He’s been out since late May with lower back soreness.
