Bronson Arroyo got roughed up by the Indians in Wednesday’s loss, allowing five runs on eight hits and two home runs in just four innings.
Arroyo served up a two-run bomb to Johnny Damon in the fourth before surrendering a three-run blast to Asdrubal Cabrera just four batters later. The non-quality start was Arroyo’s first in three outings, but he’s now allowed at least two home runs in three straight starts, and five of his past 10. It’s not a good sign after Arroyo served up 46 gopher balls a season ago. He’ll bring a 4.19 ERA and 1.31 WHIP into his Tuesday start against the Brewers at home.
