The Braves will not have an update on Brandon Beachy (elbow) until late Wednesday.
Beachy was diagnosed with a partial tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow on Monday. He is scheduled to see Dr. James Andrews on Wednesday, but his appointment is later in the day. We would be surprised if Tommy John surgery isn’t advised.
