Edwin Jackson was quality in Sunday’s loss to the Yankees, allowing two runs on seven hits and three walks in six innings of work.
Jackson struck out just one in falling to 3-4. His only real mistake of the afternoon came in the fifth, where he served up a solo home run to Curtis Granderson. Jackson has been more consistent than usual this season, turning in just four non-quality outings in 13 starts, and allowing more than three runs just twice. Through 86 1/3 frames, he’s posted a 3.05 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. He’ll get the Orioles in Baltimore next weekend.
