Braves placed RHP Brandon Beachy on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right elbow
Beachy will undergo an MRI exam on Monday, and is likely looking at an extended absence. The Braves recalled Todd Redmond for bullpen depth in a corresponding move, but Julio Teheran and Kris Medlen are the likeliest replacements for Beachy’s spot in the rotation. Teheran was lifted after four innings (86 pitches) around the same time Beachy exited last night.
