Since watching his ERA soar to 6.16 on May 12, Wainwright has gone 3-3 with a 3.09 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 41/14 K/BB ratio across 46 2/3 innings and seven starts. If he’s not “back,” he’s very close. He’ll get the Royals again next weekend, this time in Kansas City.
