Christian Friedrich pitched decently in a loss to the Tigers on Saturday, giving up three runs (two earned) on three hits over five innings of work.
He struck out four in the game, but also issued five walks. Miguel Cabrera got the scoring started with a mammoth home run in the first inning, then Friedrich walked Austin Jackson to force in a run in the fourth.
