Santiago Casilla picked up an easy one-out save against the Astros on Tuesday.
With a three-run lead and a runner on second in the ninth inning, Casilla was summoned to notch his 17th save. Minor soreness in his right knee cost the 31-year-old right-hander a few games earlier this month, but he’s fine. Since his return, Casilla has earned three saves and allowed no runs over two innings. He’s looked like a potential top-tier fantasy closer all year.
