Brandon Belt hit his first home run of the season in Tuesday’s 6-3 victory over the Astros.
Belt also drew a walk. His start today was his sixth in 11 games this month. Belt sports a disappointing .227/.345/.353 batting line, but it can probably at least partly be explained by the fact that he never sees a string of starts in a row. We still think he’ll hit if the Giants stick him in the lineup and leave him there.
