Aaron Harang held the Angels to two runs — none earned — on six hits in seven innings on Tuesday.
He struck out five and walked two in lowering his ERA to 3.59. Harang has pitched very well over his last four outings, allowing only five earned runs over 24 innings. The only downside is that his strikeout rate has fallen. After averaging over 9 K/9 in April, he’s struck out just 34 in 49 1/3 innings in his last eight starts.
