The Braves plan to give Brandon Beachy extra rest before his next scheduled start.
Beachy recently felt some slight discomfort near his right elbow. While he isn’t too concerned about the situation, the Braves plan to take advantage of a chance to give him some extra rest. With Tim Hudson scheduled to make the start on Wednesday and a scheduled off day on Thursday, Beachy will either pitch Friday on six days’ rest or Saturday with a full week’s rest.
