Tyler Colvin blasted a pair of homers on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough in a loss to the visiting Angels.
Colvin finished the day 3-for-4. He hit his first shot off Dan Haren in the second and the other off Hisanori Takahashi in the seventh. The outfielder has provided solid power in limited looks for the Rockies this year, batting .283 with five homers and 15 RBI in just 106 at-bats. He should begin seeing more and more playing time.
