Prince Fielder hit a home run and an RBI single in Saturday’s 3-2 win over the Reds in Cincinnati.
Fielder has tallied more RBI than any active visiting player in the history of Great American Ballpark, and looked very comfortable there on Saturday. His solo homer off Bronson Arroyo in the fourth inning put the Tigers up 2-0. His RBI single in the eighth broke a 2-2 tie and provided the winning run in a game that the Tigers badly needed. Prince is off to a fine start this season, hitting .316 with 10 homers and 39 RBI.
