Adam Jones smashed a two-run walkoff home run in the 12th inning on Saturday, delivering the Orioles a 6-4 victory over the visiting Phillies.
Jones finished the game 2-for-6 with a pair of RBI. The game-winning homer off Brian Rosenberg in the 12th inning was the center fielder’s first long ball since a two-homer effort on May 29. Jones is having an MVP-caliber season to this point, batting .298 with 17 homers and 37 RBI, and has been a huge reason for the Orioles’ sustained early-season success.
