Torii Hunter (Angels)

6/8/12 11:54 pm

Torii Hunter had a monstrous night on Friday, blasting a pair of two-run homers and driving home six runs in the Angels 7-2 victory over the Rockies in Colorado.

Hunter got the scoring started with his first two-run shot off of Alex White in the third inning. His next trip in the fifth, Hunter again deposited a two-run shot into the bleachers in left. As if that wasn’t enough, he also added a two-run single in the ninth inning to add a few insurance runs. After the strong night, he’s now hitting .250 with eight homers and 22 RBI on the year and remains a decent and underrated outfield option in most leagues.
