Mark Buehrle pitched well in a no-decision against the Braves on Thursday, giving up two runs on just three hits over his six strong innings of work.
Buehrle walked one and struck out three on the night. While his record looks unimpressive at 5-6, his ERA is solid at 3.49 and he’s keeping the Marlins in the game every time he takes the ball. While he’ll never be confused for a strikeout artist, he has punched out 39 on the season and remains a solid back of the rotation arm in most formats. He’ll try again to even his record at 6-6 when he battles against the Red Sox at home on Tuesday.
