Edwin Encarnacion (hand) hit off a tee Thursday.
Encarnacion is out of the starting lineup for the third straight day Thursday, but it’s a good sign that he was able to swing a bat without pain. Blue Jays manager John Farrell expects to have him back in the starting lineup at first base Friday in Atlanta.
