Vancy Worley didn’t report any setbacks following his return to the starting rotation Monday.
“No tightness or anything,” Worley said. “I’ve just got to go out there and pitch.” Worley is attempting to play through a bone chip in his right elbow for the remainder of the season. He lasted just four innings Monday, topping out at 80 pitches. Worley will take a 3.38 ERA and 1.40 WHIP into this weekend’s start in Baltimore.
