Felix Hernandez (back) will not make his scheduled start Wednesday.
Manager Eric Wedge said a stint on the disabled list is ”not even a consideration right now,” and that Hernandez will be re-evaluated on Thursday. Hector Noesi will start on short rest for the Mariners. Hernandez wasn’t cleared after a bullpen session Monday and should be considered day-to-day.
