Dustin Pedroia (thumb) is batting second in Tuesday’s lineup.
Pedroia has a slight tear in his right thumb, but took batting practice with a specially-designed brace a couple times over the weekend and reported no setbacks. Now that he’s back, he needs to be active in all fantasy leagues. Nick Punto will return to a bench role.
