Doug Fister (left side strain) went through agility work and played light catch on Tuesday.
Rehab has been slow-moving for Fister, who missed a month earlier this season with the same injury. Detroit believed he wouldn’t be shelved for as long this time around, but Fister, out since May 29, doesn’t appear close to returning to the mound.
