Marcum punched out eight and didn?t walk a batter in the game. The only mark against him on the night was a solo home run allowed to Garrett Jones in the fourth inning. With the win, he improves to 4-3 on the season and lowers his ERA to 3.39. Marcum has now given up just two runs while striking out 17 over his last two outings. He?ll attempt to keep that momentum going strong when he battles the Padres at home on Friday.
