Ervin Santana didn’t have it against the Yankees on Wednesday, allowing five runs on six hits in just five innings of Los Angeles’ 6-5 loss.
Santana allowed two home runs, with most of the damage coming on a three-run blast off the bat of Curtis Granderson in the third. The owner of a 4.78 ERA and 1.33 WHIP, Santana has now allowed 15 home runs in just 69 2/3 innings this season. He’s also turned in a pedestrian 52/28 K/BB ratio. He’ll get the Mariners at home next Tuesday.
