During an appearance on 1250 WSSP in Milwaukee, Jonathan Lucroy confirmed that he will undergo surgery Thursday to repair a fracture in his right hand.
Lucroy boxer’s fracture of the fifth metacarpal in his right hand as a result of a freak accident in his hotel room earlier this week. It was previously reported that the injury would heal on its own, but he’ll actually have a pin inserted to hold two segments of the bone together. The current timeline has Lucroy out for four to six weeks, but there’s a chance that could change now that he’s undergoing surgery.
