Dexter Fowler doubled, homered and drove in three runs in Wednesday’s 13-5 rout of the Astros in Colorado.
In what was a classic Coors Field laser show, Michael Cuddyer hit a grand slam while Carlos Gonzalez went deep three times as the Rockies rolled. As for Fowler, he now has four extra-base hits in his past two games, and 18 on the season. He’s batting .281/.374/.578 through Colorado’s first 49 games. Fowler has flashed signs of brilliance only to fade back to frustrating before, but he’ll be a highly intriguing own going forward.
