David Freese (hand, wrist) is out of the Cardinals’ lineup for the third straight game Wednesday.
Freese is currently nursing some soreness along the back of his right wrist. The Cardinals have a scheduled off-day Thursday, so it makes sense to rest him until at least Friday. Daniel Descalso will fill in again at third base on Wednesday night.
