Ronny Cedeno has been diagnosed with a small calf strain.
The Mets don’t anticipate that he’ll need a stint on the disabled list but they’re holding him out of the lineup Monday and could also keep him inactive Tuesday. Cedeno is batting .231/.351/.308 so far this year.
