Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak confirmed he expects Allen Craig (hamstring) to come off the disabled list when first eligible.
Craig took batting practice with the team Thursday and is currently eligible to return June 1. He’ll likely spit time with Matt Adams at first base with Lance Berkman (knee) on the disabled list. It’s not impossible he could see time at second base, either.
