Ryan Vogelsong turned in another quality start against the Marlins on Thursday, allowing three runs on seven hits over 6 1/3 innings of work.
He struck out four and walked three in the game. He allowed a solo shot to Giancarlo Stanton in the second inning, while his other two runs were runners left on first and second that Clay Hensley couldn?t strand in the seventh inning. Vogelsong now sits at 3-2 with a miniscule 2.50 ERA. He’s doing everything in his power to prove that his strong 2011 season was no fluke, and he needs to be owned and started in all leagues at this point. He?ll look to keep on rolling when he takes on the Diamondbacks at home on Tuesday.
