J.J. Putz took his third blown save and loss after giving up two runs in the ninth against the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Putz’s velocity has been better of late, so he’ll probably survive this one. It’s been an ugly year for him so far, but he did enter the night with a 16/1 K/BB ratio in 14 innings. If the Diamondbacks do decide to make a switch, it’d be to David Hernandez.
