P.J. Walters turned in the finest performance of his young career on Tuesday night, allowing just two runs on five hits in a complete-game victory over the White Sox.
Walters punched out eight and walked two. With the victory, he improved to 2-1 and lowered his ERA to 2.95. The Twins’ rotation has been awful this year, and Walters has been a breath of fresh air. He makes for a solid streaming play when he takes on the Athletics on Monday.
