Fernando Rodney continued brilliant pitching, sending the Blue Jays down in order to pick up his 14th save of the season on Tuesday.
He fanned two of the three hitters that he faced. He’s now a perfect 14-for-14 in save chances and lowers his ERa to a microscopic 0.44. Even when Kyle Farnsworth returns, it appears that Rodney has done enough to secure the job for the long haul so long as he avoids a major meltdown.
