Justin Smoak went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday’s win over the Rockies.
The Mariners completed a three-game road sweep with the victory. As for Smoak, the multi-hit effort was his fifth in nine games, helping him raise his triple slash from .173/.229/.264 on May 9 to .218/.258/.333. It’s at least a start down the road toward mixed-league respectability.
