Jake Peavy bounced back from a rough start his last time out in Sunday’s 6-0 win over the Cubs, allowing just three hits across 6 1/3 scoreless innings.
Peavy struck out seven and walked two in improving to 5-1. Peavy has now been quality in eight of his first nine 2012 starts, and has a 2.39 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 55/11 K/BB ratio to show for it. He’ll get the Indians at home next Saturday.
