Tommy Hottovy (Royals)

Royals optioned LHP Tommy Hottovy to Triple-A Omaha.

He was cleared in order to make room for Vin Mazzaro on the active roster. Hottovy had a 3.38 ERA and 5/1 K/BB ratio over 5 1/3 innings during his two-week stay with the big club.
