Updating an earlier item, Ryan Braun left Wednesday’s game in the sixth inning with a sore Achilles.
Braun actually first suffered the injury in Tuesday’s game while trying to steal a base, and he aggravated it Wednesday. The fact that he was in the lineup the next day after the original incident is a good sign, and he and the Brewers didn’t seem too concerned after Wednesday’s game. Braun isn’t sure if he’ll play Friday, but it sounds like he won’t need a DL stint.
