Matt Cain limited the Marlins to two runs in eight innings Tuesday, only to fall to 1-2 anyway.
We’re not going to check or anything, but we’d guess Cain has been on the wrong end of more 2-1 scores than any other pitcher in the league these last five years. He’s 1-2 with a 2.35 ERA and an incredible 0.68 WHIP after five starts this season.
