Chris Davis continued his onslaught of American League pitching on Tuesday, going 3-for-4 with a homer in a 5-1 victory over the Yankees.
Davis also scored three times in the game. He’s always been known as a player who possessed tremendous power but would always struggle with batting average and making consistent contact. This season, however, he looks like a completely different hitter. He’s driving the ball with authority to all fields, and is a must-start in most leagues right now. The 26-year-old is hitting an impressive .333 with five homers and 13 RBI on the season.
