Brandon Inge (Tigers)

4/29/12 12:17 pm

FOXSports.com’s Ken Rosenthal reports the Athletics are the ”front-runner” to sign Brandon Inge.

This confirms earlier speculation that the Athletics are, in fact, interested. Inge cleared waivers and is now available to all 30 MLB teams. In Oakland, he would likely serve as an upgrade at third base over current starter Luke Hughes.
